Everlong Wealth celebrates the qualification of new Paraplanner

Millie Boulton, one of Everlong Wealth’s youngest team members, has recently passed the Level 4 qualification in paraplanning, making her our newest Paraplanner.

Millie joined Everlong shortly after completing her A levels in business, chemistry and biology and had no previous experience in a financial planning role. In her previous position, she was a business support assistant in the safeguarding department of her local council, before she decided to pursue an apprenticeship with Everlong as she was passionate about the prospect of helping people with their financial goals.

A paraplanner is an important role in any financial planning team whose role includes tasks necessary for developing and reviewing clients’ financial plans. Some of the tasks a paraplanner carries out include preparing clients reports and recommendations for financial advisers and create cash flow analysis to visualise how our clients can reach financial freedom.

After a year and ten months of studying, Millie completed her RO1, RO2, RO3 and JO9 exams, which cover financial services, regulation and ethics, investment principles and risk, personal taxation and paraplanning. She is currently continuing her development further and working towards completing her exams to progress her role to a fully qualified financial planner.

On her experience in completing the qualification, Millie commented: “The support I’ve received from the rest of the Everlong team and my tutors has been invaluable to my success, and I feel more confident in the tasks that I complete since gaining my qualification.”

Paul Hamilton, Managing Director of Everlong Wealth, commented:

“Millie’s dedication and hard work in qualifying as a paraplanner is a great example of her commitment to both her personal and professional growth. I and the rest of the Everlong team are proud of her achievement and we look forward to continuing to support her promising career.”
